Nikos Salapataras, Founder & CEO of SALAS International Group SA, had high-level contacts in Davos, participating once again in the works of the World Economic Forum in Switzerland, January 20-24.
Of particular importance is the meeting of the CEO of SALAS Group with Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Ali Al Nuaimi, one of the most powerful men in the United Arab Emirates, also known as the Green Sheikh. He is a member of the Ajman emirate family and the largest activist in the United Arab Emirates, sensitive to issues surrounding the development and empowerment of youth and supporting people in need. Mr. Salapataras has many years of expertise in humanitarian aid issues while he is a certified associate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' directorate for these issues in foreign countries, with a recent focus on Armenia and Gaza.
As a result, a constructive dialogue developed between the two men. In particular, Mr. Salapataras informed Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Ali Al Nuaimi about the implementation of No Food Waste in Arab countries and had the opportunity to exchange views with him on a number of issues of common interest such as climate change affecting the Middle East.
It is also worth mentioning that Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Ali Al Nuaimi invited the Head of Salas Group, Nikos Salapataras, to a meeting in the near future to discuss joint initiatives and partnerships.
