SALAS International Group SA, a leading humanitarian solutions provider, participated in the humanitarian exhibition held in Dubai on 23-25 April 2024. This exhibition is organized on an annual basis and brings together humanitarian aid professionals. This year the subject of the exhibition was “Humanitarian Diplomacy and a Journey to the Future” and it gathered over 4,000 visitors from all over the world. At booth D13, SALAS International Group SA presented a range of relief kits tailored to the urgent needs of crisis-affected communities, including food kits, personal hygiene kits, education kits, elderly emergency kits, first aid kits aids, health care kits, shelter kits and kits for babies and new parents.
Except for the presentation of the kits, SALAS showcased a new and innovative product, the “SALAS PROTEIN BISCUIT”. A product of high nutritional value, which received positive feedback and proved to be a topic of discussion among exhibitors and visitors.
In addition, SALAS also presented a different project that excited the visitors and aroused the curiosity of international organizations. This new project was a donation platform, which is called "Humanitarian Aid Platform". The interesting aspect of this platform is that the donor will be able to choose the type of humanitarian aid that he or she wants to send (choosing from our kits) and the category of people benefiting.
During the exhibition Mr. Salapataras, President, and CEO of SALAS International Group S.A., met and discussed with international organizations such as the United Nations, the Red Cross and the Red Crescent in order to develop a beneficial bilateral collaboration for providing humanitarian aid.
